It’s been a long, cold Toronto winter (as usual) but there are sure signs of Spring in the city!
We’ve already experienced record a March 6th temperature of a balmy 17.9C! And the Robins have already started to return!

Declining mortality from congenital heart disease in Malta. A teenager who is one of the claimants in the civil action was diagnosed as having a mental condition by Mr Berg during a home visit to his mother. Mother and son have claimed they were prescribed dangerous and inappropriate drugs by Mr Berg, who treated 259 patients during his year's employment at Townsville hospital in 2000. Despite hospital authorities learning that Mr Berg's Russian qualifications were fake in late 2002, his former patients were informed only through the Morris and Davis inquiries that arose out of the Dr Death scandal. The inquiries heard that authorities took the decision not to tell patients about Mr Berg because they feared it could lead to them stopping their medication and counselling or even attempting suicide. The three former patients - one of whom claims she has attempted suicide three times as a result of Mr Berg's treatment and medication - are seeking more than $1 million in damages. Looking at Figures 1, 2, and 3, a crucial observation is that the distinction between pain medication online without prescription
different research areas is visible not only in the structure of the maps but also in the colors of the terms. In general, in the right part of each map, in which the more basic and diagnostic research areas are located, there are many yellow, orange, and red terms, which clearly indicates an above-average citation impact. As indicated by the color bar in the lower right in Figures 1, 2, and 3, yellow and orange correspond with a citation impact that is, respectively, about 25% and about 50% above the average of the field. Red corresponds with a citation impact that is 100% or more above average. On the other hand, in the left part of each map, research areas can be found with mainly blue and green terms, implying a below-average citation impact. Ordinances of political subdivisions of this State prohibiting the acts prohibited by the provisions of this article, except Section 61-6-4720, are hereby suspended, it being declared that the State has occupied the field of the subjects covered thereby. Judicial and law enforcement officers of political subdivisions of this State must enforce these provisions within their respective jurisdictions. Local residents are always going on and on about how vibrant the city becomes as the weather warms up.
That’s a fact!
The city comes alive with Music, Entertainment and Food Fairs. And the city puts on a host of events (many of them free) to attract visitors. (There is a listing of some of the events on our website!)
There are so many “events” held each summer that we couldn’t possibly list them all. We’ve done our best but we’ve also undoubtedly missed some!
The first major event of the year has already begun (beating the arrival of Spring by about a week!)
The Canadian Music Week ’09 Edition – a three day Music Industry gathering that will see more than 350 visiting bands in just over 35 varied venues in the city.
It is the precursor of the good times to come! Toronto will hold Blues, Jazz and Folk Festivals; Food Fairs in ethnic neighborhoods; outdoor Art Shows and unusual events such as the “Buskerfest” for street performers.
A lot of performers opt to stray with us here at the backpacker’s inn. Some of the visiting groups are pictured below.
To find out where you can catch their shows see the free weekly papers “Now Magazine” and “Eye Weekly” for complete listings.
They’ve all come to play some hot music to warm things up in Toronto!
