Nevan Bridge is a Pedagogue from New Zealand. He works a lot with young children.
Before you confuse the word – meaning “educator” – with a similar word describing something far less salubrious let me tell you a bit about Nevan.
He hails from Napier, New New Zealand – a community on the east coast of the country’s North Island famous for its abundant sunshine.
He is principal of an primary school and oversees the education of over four hundred young minds. A pretty amazing piece of trivia is that he has been a school principal since the tender age of 26!
They call places like ours “Youth Hostels” but that is antiquated description left over from the 1960′s. We get all sorts of professionals of all ages as guests.
We get Doctors, Lawyers and even the occasional Indian Chief. And good number of Pedagogues too!
