What strikes us about these young ladies is the quality of their English language skills. English is obviously their second language but they both speak it with the facility of a native speaker.
We are used to Scandanavians (the Dutch and Germans also) speaking excellent English. But these two girls stand out even among this group.
You can tell that they have done a lot of wilderness camping this summer. Despite the fact that our patio is well equipped with tables and chairs, they prefered to sit on the ground. (Check the photo out!)

I’ve always been surprised at how fluent the Danish, Germans, and Dutch are in English. While backpacking around, I can’t remember how many times I was being corrected for my poor english grammar.
ME: “So Greg and Me finished our beers….”
Danish: “Greg and I…”
ME: “Yea, thats what I said, so we finished our beers….”
Go EU and their fantastic education system.
